Editorial policy
Active Sports Insider aims to make sports explanations clear, accurate and independent. We distinguish established rules and definitions from interpretation, and revise our wording when a detail needs correction.
Accuracy and clarity
We check the central terms and claims used in each piece, favour clear explanations over jargon, and add context when a rule or format can differ between competitions. An explanation of tactics is not a claim that every team uses the same approach.
Independence
Editorial decisions and explanations are made for readers. Partnerships do not determine editorial conclusions, and paid or partner material is identified clearly wherever it appears.
Corrections
If you find an error or an unclear passage, contact us with the article title and the detail in question. We review correction requests and amend material when warranted; changes should improve accuracy without obscuring what was revised.
Images and illustration
Images are chosen to support the subject rather than imply evidence. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; where relevant, they are identified as illustrations and are not presented as documentary photographs.
